Notes for purchasing down jackets: Super cheap down jackets aren’t reliable—there are two main problems. 1/First, they don’t have enough total down fill. 2/Second, the filling inside isn’t real down; it’s just crushed duck feathers passed off as down. 3/so their prices are pretty transparent now. Usually, the more expensive one is, the better its quality and the more you can trust it.
